  • You need to submit all the necessary papers for documentation and verification, including the application form to training program for phlebotomy that is approved by CA
  • You need to complete 20 hours of basic classroom training
  • You have to submit the proof of completion and application to training program for phlebotomy that is approved by CA before you can proceed to the next step
  • After verification, you are now qualified for a 40 hours of practical actual training
  • To be a certified phlebotomy technician, your practical training requires you to complete 50 vein punctures or collect blood from actual patients successfully
  • You also need to complete 10 skin pierce or punctures on a actual patients successfully
  • And you have to complete and finish 20 hours of advanced classroom training
  • Finally, the training program for phlebotomy will award you the certificate of completion that you already completed the training. After the successful completion of the training, you are now a certified phlebotomy technician.

This is only the beginning of your successful career in phlebotomy. You are now a level one certified phlebotomy technician because no experience and no documentation are required. Everything that you have learned during the course of the training will be very helpful and use them to maximize your resources.  You can now apply what you have learned and look for a job to gain more experience and knowledge.
